Day 11 - On the Other Hand

Make or do something using your non-dominant hand. For example, if you are right handed, try eating with the fork (or chopsticks!) in your left hand or try writing a story by holding the pen in your left hand, etc.

Day 9 - Collection of Words

You know how they have those magnetic words that you can put into silly phrases? I used to love stringing them out in hilarious combinations with Deirdre and there's a board with some great words at work, which I love rearranging when I have a spare minute or two. I made lots of little slips of paper with words, with the magnet idea in mind, and here are some of the little ditties I came up with:

you're my turquoise super hero

it's a wonderful celebration of peas & zebras

life is a cornucopia of surprises!

wishing on pennies we tossed into a puddle

you're my baby pea!

you're the sunlight that brightens up my cloudy day

I'm jealous of your avocado dance

come with me and watch the sunrise. let the light warm your face and dry the tears from your eyes. my child, you have only just begun to live

the joyful hippopotamus dances and splashes our troubles away

:o)

Try it - it's super fun!!!

Day 9 - Collections

Use something that you or someone else collects for what you make today!

Day 7 - Play With Your Food

Do something creative with your food choices today! Maybe order something new at a restaurant or make a design in what you're eating. It'll be a piece of cake! ;o)

Yesterday I tried a new salad (see quinoa salad on the recipe page!), and for this activity I made a "peazza world"; I arranged peas on a pizza to try to look like the globe.

Day 6 - Rabbit Rabbit!

Happy August 1st!

Today make something that has to do with luck and good fortune.

(or something that has to do with bunnies!)

Below is a picture of the beads I made!
